The Six Sigma Green Belt Project training is project oriented and designed to take selected employees through all of the Green Belt 6σ training and mentoring activities they will need to complete their improvement project. At the end of this project/training, the employee will be certified as a 6σ Green Belt and be able to take on other Green Belt projects within the company with limited or no assistance from outside consultants.

Prerequisites: Committed Top Management to Six Sigma (Six Sigma Executive Planning), plus a company-sponsored project.

  • Weekly class reviews on off class weeks.
  • Text: Six Sigma Pocket Guide by Rath & Strong’s (Included in price)
  • Recommended Reference: The Six Sigma Handbook by Tom Pyzdek
  • Presentation material is handed out in class on a CD.
  • Each person attending the class needs a laptop with Excel on it to use for
    classroom exercises.
